Fatalism is the third studio album from Australian metalcore giants Polaris and tragically, their final record with guitarist Ryan Siew, whose passing has made this release even more heart breaking and significant for fans. Despite the grief behind it, Fatalism doesn’t falter, it soars. Polaris deliver everything we’ve come to expect. Complex and heavy riffs, introspective lyrics, and soaring choruses. But there’s also something deeper here. A new level of urgency. A raw, emotional edge that cuts through even the heaviest moments.  Jake now steps forward with backing screams that elevate the intensity, Jamie sounds more confident and refined in his cleans, and the production is the band’s strongest yet.
