Don't Close Your Eyes is a snapshot of a group of kids from Byron Bay in the early ‘00s, on the brink of exploding onto the global metalcore stage. In doing so, they paved the way for the Australian heavy scene to flourish. DCYE captures the band at their unfiltered beginning. Unpolished and relentless, it’s a foundation of youthful defiance, breakdowns, and desperate grief that would come to define their legacy. DCYE was an ignition point for one of Australia’s hardest charging metal machines.
